Arri and I are both fire signs and both natural leaders. He leads from the front. I lead from the front, but with better hair.

Taur is the only creature in the kingdom who doesn’t stand up when I walk in. I’ve decided this is because he’s comfortable around me. That’s a compliment, actually.

The best fans a lion could ask for. They tell everyone about me, twice, in two voices.

Canny clapped when I sneezed. Canny understands me.

Leo + Leo (Leo)

Two lions, one stage. We both took a bow at the same time and bumped heads. We’re calling it a duet.

Verdict: the best show in town, with no interval and two encores.

Leo + Virgo (Virgo)

I make a grand entrance. Virgo tidies up the confetti. I once asked Virgo to join me on stage, and Virgo hid behind the curtain for an hour.

Libby has style. I have style. Together we’re the most fabulous thing in the room, and Libby is very polite about letting me stand slightly in front.

Fellow fire sign. Sagg is always off on an adventure, so I go too. I’m the one in the photos.

Verdict: great fun, great photos.

Leo + Cap (Capricorn)

Cap wants to be the boss through hard work. I want to be the boss through being magnificent. So far, it’s a tie.

Verdict: two leaders. One throne. Ongoing discussions.

Leo + Aqua (Aquarius)

My opposite sign. Aqua isn’t impressed by anything. I’ve done my best roar four times and she just took notes. I’ve never been so intrigued.

Verdict: she keeps me humble. I hate it. I need it.

Leo + Pike (Pisces)

Pike wrote me a poem. It was all about me. It’s the best poem ever written.

Verdict: Pike, you’ve got a fan for life. Well, I have. You know what I mean.
