1. We notice everything

The typo on the menu. The picture that’s slightly wonky. The friend who’s gone a bit quiet. Virgos see the details, and the details matter.

2. We’re helpers

If something needs doing, a Virgo has probably already done it. Quietly. Without a fuss. Then tidied up afterwards.

3. We’re organised

Our pencil cases have sections. Our sections have labels. Our labels are in alphabetical order. It’s not a problem. It’s a system.

4. We’re ruled by Mercury

Mercury is the planet of clever thinking. Gemini got the chatty half. We got the careful half. We’re happy with that.

5. We’re kind

A Virgo won’t shout about the nice things they do. They’ll just do them. You might only find out years later. That’s fine. We weren’t counting. (We were counting. It’s 47.)

6. We’re brilliant at fixing things

Broken toy, tangled necklace, confusing homework. Pass it to a Virgo. Give us ten minutes and some peace and quiet.

7. We’re reliable

If a Virgo says they’ll be there at four, they’ll be there at quarter to. Just in case.

8. We’re healthy

Virgos like fresh air, fresh food and getting enough sleep. Somebody has to set a good example. It may as well be the sheep.

9. We’re modest

We’re very good at lots of things. We just don’t like to mention it. We’ve mentioned it now because this list asked. Sorry.

10. We make the world a bit better

Not with a big fuss. With a lot of small, careful, useful things. Added together, that’s quite a lot of better.

Virgo says: “I’ve checked the list. Then I checked it again. There’s a full stop missing on number six. Oh, no, there isn’t. Good.”
